Reproductive health misinformation harms the health of countless women1
Millions of women are facing the consequences of inadequate menstrual health education, according to Flo Health’s 2023 Reproductive Health Survey. The survey, which polled 2,010 nationally representative US women aged 18 to 55, revealed some alarming gaps in knowledge.
cannot accurately identify all phases of the menstrual cycle2
don’t know what a “normal” menstrual cycle is2
aged 18-24 learned more about menstrual health from social media than in school2
This is concerning, as ACOG states that menstrual cycle changes are equally as useful as abnormal blood pressure, heart rate, or respiratory rate in predicting potential health problems.3 Understanding changes early and being able to communicate them are vital. 63% of women aged 18–24 have learned more about menstrual health from social media than in school,2 probably because only 21% of elementary schools currently provide puberty education.4

Patients are prepared —
Personalized cycle predictions
Flo uses its artificial intelligence engine to predict users’ future cycles and fertile window dates. Notifications and content assist users in anticipating their next period and ovulation, empowering them to take a proactive approach toward their cycle and conception.
Patients can provide you details —
Doctor’s report
Flo allows users to access and share a report of their last six months of cycle and symptom history. The report highlights patterns, abnormalities, and other relevant information to provide them with a comprehensive understanding of their menstrual cycle and overall health.
Patients see patterns —
Pattern and trend identification
Users’ symptoms are recorded and tracked by the app based on their menstrual cycle timing, and patterns are displayed visually. Additionally, explanatory comments help the user understand what is happening with their body and, if necessary, whether they should seek medical care.
Patients are supported —
Digital Health Assistant
The Flo Health Assistant chatbot offers proactive information to users, triggered by various tracked symptoms and cycle stage. Our advanced chats are designed to help users better understand their body and the impact their cycle can have on mood, energy, skin, and fitness levels.
Patients are tracking —
Symptom logging and analysis
Users can track symptoms and other events by logging their physical and psychological symptoms, contraception, sex, and more. With over 70+ options, users can create a history within the app to share in their next appointment.
Patients are not alone —
Flo community
The Flo community gives users a place to discuss the things that matter to them in a moderated, anonymous discussion forum. Commentary from health experts on topics supports users, and Ask Me Anything sessions give users the opportunity to get their questions answered.
