Securing patients’ data
Flo is the first period and ovulation tracker to achieve dual ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 Certifications. These international accreditations are awarded to organizations that set high standards for securely handling information. We also believe that our example will empower the whole industry to raise the bar when it comes to security principles.
Anonymous mode
In 2022 Flo introduced Anonymous Mode, which allows your patients to use the app without any personally identifiable information, such as a name, email address, and technical identifier being associated with the account. This means that if Flo ever receives an official request to identify an Anonymous Mode user by name or email, it won’t be possible to satisfy that request.
Flo is the first female health app to take this level of precaution in terms of privacy and security.
Be in control
Flo believes your patients deserve to be in complete control of their data. Patients can delete, access and update their input data at any time.
Flo has never, and will never, sell user information or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
